A set of third‑floor rooms with a lovely lobby made for a comfy stay, and the location let me walk to almost every spot I wanted. The room was roomy and had all the essentials, and Claudio sent clear WhatsApp instructions for building access and key security. The only downside was the small elevator that cost €10, which would be tough for a wheelchair user.

The place sits right in the heart of the city, just a few blocks from the port where the ferries depart, making it a great spot.

The location was good relative to the conference venue and there were plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. However, there was no breakfast offered, no bottled water, and no coffee machine—only a teapot with no tea bags or other supplies. The shower head in the bathroom was malfunctioning.

Breakfast could be prepared in the studio’s kitchenette, and the couple’s Studio room was a wonderful one‑person space. The upper floor had many cafés nearby, all of which offered breakfast. The elevator only ran on 10‑cent tickets, so that should be noted in advance.
