“Wunderschöner Außenbereich, Zimmer mit Potenzial”
The stay was in a dreamlike, quiet spot with a nature view from my own terrace – the outdoor area and pool were beautiful and well‑maintained, offering plenty of privacy. The host gave me a tea kettle (I had been told beforehand that a double booking meant I’d get a room without a kitchen). There were power sockets at the bed, the price was cheap, the property had great potential, and the towels and bed linens were clean. However, the review refers to the single room “Leo”: my idea of cleanliness seems to differ from the host’s. The nightstand was dirty, one of the two cups wasn’t properly cleaned, and the bathroom and room were infested with many flies, spiders, webs, centipedes, and mosquitoes. We’re in nature, so animals are expected, but this level of infestation shouldn’t be normal – I understand that with a large property it’s hard to scrub everything meticulously. There’s no mosquito net or window or door protection. The room was very hot, so I could only ventilate at the cost of more mosquitoes to breathe. I ended up having a fairly sleepless night. I was told the room normally costs almost twice as much; in this condition I wouldn’t have found it acceptable. I do see the potential, but with enough time, staff, etc., this room could reach a state where the price would be reasonable.
