The room was spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful, yet the accommodation is very basic, the mattress is extremely hard, and there’s no tea or coffee making facility.

The place was spotless and the staff were fantastic, going above and beyond for us. We didn’t get breakfast with our booking, but Khun Nok would bring a small treat each morning, like coconut rice wrapped in banana leaf. I felt so at ease that I booked an extra three days! The only downside is that you can’t swim right across from the hotel; Manao Beach is a short tuk‑tuk or 15‑minute bike ride away.
