The reception, communication, and recommendations were all spot on, and everything else was excellent.

We liked the setting and the quality of the bedding, plus the waitress was friendly and helpful. The manager’s cold welcome and the fact that the only menu served at night left us disappointed, especially since the full menu looked much more appealing. In the middle of the night we had an issue with a surprise visit from Asian wasps; we alerted the manager, who replied that we had slept with the window open and should have closed it because we’re in the countryside.

Fantastic hotel, we have stayed there every year for over 30 years on our drive home from Spain to the UK. It is fabulous with amazing food and lovely staff. Rooms are spotless and perfect for our stay. Highly recommend. Nothing was wrong; it was all good.
