The spot is great, and the owner is friendly and lets you stash luggage before check‑in or after check‑out. The smell was a bit funky—probably due to poor ventilation, so it didn’t feel very clean. The beds were very squeaky and not comfortable at all.

Everything was perfect except for the breakfast I missed because of work; the kitchen is basically non‑existent. I would have appreciated a heads‑up at booking, since I chose this hostel specifically for that. The laundry service has a washing machine but no dryer, which is a hassle during the wet season.

The new interior turned the place into a comfortable resting space. I was thrown off when the breakfast notice said it was still being prepared and I wasn’t told beforehand—breakfast is a big deal for travelers. The room lacked a TV, a properly installed hanger, and other conveniences; a more detailed preparation of the shower area and other amenities is needed.

The hotel sits in a prime spot for catching various bus lines, is a 10‑minute walk to the metro, and a 15‑minute bus ride from the Daejeon and Seodaejeon stations. The room is well equipped with a very welcoming bed. The staff are very responsive and attentive. The water precision wasn’t sufficient.
