The location and view were exceptional, the rooms spotless and the breakfasts delicious—delivered right onto our terrace with a view, which was a real highlight. The real stars were the staff: at the front desk Irini and Philp, who brought breakfast with the most gorgeous smile, and the porters who saved us by carrying our bags up and down all those steps straight to the car. Mina, our cleaner, was a doll who kept those incredible linens beautiful and cosy. The shower became slippery once water was in it, and although the renovation is beautiful, the layout with the toilet exposed felt odd.
