“Would stay again!”
I had booked a B&B, but because it was overbooked we were given a lovely apartment instead; it’s in a great spot, everything was brand new and well maintained, and the rooftop view was fantastic—we even had a glass of wine up there. The only drawback was that we didn’t get the two beds we had originally booked; we’re both light sleepers with back issues and prefer our own mattress, so I slept on the upstairs couch, which wasn’t very comfortable. Also, staying at the B&B would have let us meet other guests, including some cyclists, which we love. For breakfast we didn’t get the B&B menu, so we went to a nearby pastry shop where we only had a cappuccino and a croissant, and anything else cost extra. Still, it was a great stay and Loredana was very kind.
