Baymont by Wyndham Eau Claire WI

“I liked it”

The staff were excellent, and there were no issues.

“Other than the pool and hot tub being out of order, the stay was fine.”

Breakfast was okay and the facilities were clean, but the pool and hot tub were out of order for the two days we stayed.

“It was reasonably price for a quick in and out stay.”

The location was spot on, with plenty of great eateries and shops close by, and the staff were friendly while the common areas stayed tidy. Unfortunately, our room carried a strange smell that we later traced to the bathroom rather than the AC, and the parking lot was so dark that we initially missed the turn.

“We like the place and the location and will very likely book with them again”

We had left an item in our room during a previous stay and let them know; when we returned they retrieved it from lost and found. Breakfast improved on Saturday morning compared to Sunday morning on the outbound trip, offering eggs and sausage that hadn’t been on the earlier menu. However, there were mold spots on the HVAC louvers in the room. We asked for cleaning supplies, they supplied them, and we cleaned the unit ourselves, avoiding a room change.

Great location and lovely staff. The way 1 member of staff spoke to my autistic son made him uncomfortable to approach her for the remainder of the stay. The others were fabulous 👌
