The staff, especially Antonella, were supportive, offering suggestions and help for visits, restaurants, and more. Breakfast at the contracted café‑restaurant was excellent, and the proximity to the metro was convenient. The only thing that didn’t fully convince me was the room lighting; perhaps I’m used to a brighter home.
The location is exceptional, and the staff are very attentive and pleasant.
“Excellent Accommodation”
Communication was excellent, the location was great, and the accommodation was attractive. Mattia and Antonella were attentive, friendly, and helpful. Access was smooth with keys and locks. The space was clean, roomy, and quiet, with a good layout. I appreciated the ample coat hangers and clothing shelves, and it was a bonus to have a fridge and coffee/tea facilities. The bed was large, and the window opened properly, which was nice. The only drawbacks were a mattress that was too hard for me—the sofa‑bed mattress felt more comfortable. A softer, lower pillow would have been better than the heavy, hard one and the very high foam‑filled pillow that made my neck stiff each day. A bin for recyclables would be useful, and plugging in the kettle was inconvenient—either use the fridge’s wall socket or the bathroom socket.
The accommodation is a charming small room in a shared apartment that consists of three rooms, each with its own bathroom, a shared kitchenette, and a small terrace. It’s located very close to Ottaviano metro station, offering a quiet yet central setting that allows easy walking and metro access. Nearby are restaurants, shops, and the Vatican is only 10‑15 minutes away; downtown takes about 30 minutes on foot. I was personally and pleasantly received at check‑in despite a delay. The breakfast vouchers for a lovely nearby café, where a filled croissant and cappuccino are served daily, were practical. A water dispenser is also available in the shared kitchen. The room is nicely furnished but shows some wear: a crack in the bathroom mirror, peeling wallpaper in places, a loose soap dispenser in the wall, and the refrigerator is relatively loud, which can disturb sleep because it sits next to the bed. The apartment is somewhat noisy, and other guests can be heard clearly when they are in the hallway or shared kitchen. The title “Single Room with Garden View” is somewhat misleading; the window looks out onto the courtyard, where construction materials are stored and people are a bit louder in the mornings.
“Personal muy atento y alojamiento muy cómodo”
The place is very well situated, right next to a metro entrance, and walking takes about 45 minutes to all the sights in Rome, except for the Vatican which is right next door. Above all, Antonella’s constant attention made our stay wonderful; she was very attentive to us throughout.
