Park Place Hotel

The hotel’s location is nice, but we were very disappointed paying over $700 for two nights in what we thought was an oceanfront room. We booked an oceanfront room for a car‑cruising weekend, but when we arrived at room #316 the view was ruined because the bar blocked the entire boardwalk view we’d paid for to watch the parade. The front desk said no other rooms were available, which was a total letdown and should have been disclosed at booking; otherwise I would have chosen another place. I’ve stayed here before, but this was a huge disappointment for our anniversary.

“Overall a nice place close to everything. Clean and friendly staff.”

We didn’t have breakfast, but coffee and tea were always available. The hotel was close to shops, and room service did a good job keeping the room clean. The bikes we used could have been in better condition, but overall it was nice.

“We will be back to stay again in an oceanfront room!”

The location is prime and it has all the amenities you’d need. The walls between rooms were thin, so we could hear the people next to us. It was an adjoining room, but we didn’t use that feature, so I’m not sure if all other walls are like that.

The boardwalk location is great. We found socks in our bed that weren’t ours, and the housekeeping service was disappointing for the cost of the room.
