“Mejor de lo esperado”

The location and views are incredible. The room is large and pretty with river views, big windows, and a terrace at the foot of the room. They have taken care of us at all times, giving recommendations and conveniences. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s better in person!

“Liked the location but not what the pictures show”

I liked the quiet side of Elephantine Island and the use of kayaks. The staff were very friendly. Our room looked nothing like the pictures and all the furniture, inside and out, were very shabby. Although they said TV and kettle in the room, neither existed, and the bed did not have a top sheet! The shower drained terribly. Kayaks were not included; there was an extra charge that we weren’t expecting.

The Hooly Nubian hotel is on Elephantine Island with a beautiful view. The first boat transfer is included in the price. Breakfast is traditional but not extraordinary, and the rooms are simple and clean. The guest house offers activities such as kayaking and the staff are smiling and attentive. There are no large towels or top sheets, no water bottles or fruit juice at breakfast.

The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom also, the terrace of the rooms was very nice, the view was beautiful, the kayak was great. Organization was sometimes a bit complicated with the staff, the prices were not the same between the person I messaged and the person at the hotel, he said he would offer the kayak but then charged, he didn’t warn about card fees, so we preferred to do most activities ourselves.

“Calme et adorables hötes aux petits soins”

The village of Nubien on Elephantine Island is incredibly quiet.
