“Scammers”
I booked here but the hotel cancelled the booking three weeks ago, so I'm now dealing with the fraud team and the police to recover my money. Scammers.
“DO NOT BOOK!!!!!!”
My partner and I travelled from Essex to Great Yarmouth and booked in, only to be told we wouldn't be staying there but up the road. We booked a double room but were given a single without a lock on the door, no towels, nothing – a disgrace. Everything was awful.
“Shambles”
I booked, paid, and arrived to find a shabby, neglected hotel with no reception to check in. The place was locked and empty of staff; a notice at the door asked arriving guests to call a London number for a code to use on a pin pad, but there was no answer. The hotel was in disrepair, smelled heavily of damp, and had no welcome. From the outside, looking through the window, the interior looked unclean with takeaway coffee cups on tables and counters. The bar was deserted with empty optics. The hotel looked abandoned with tall weeds and peeling paint, not like the advertised establishment. If not for another nearby hotel that took us in, our weekend could have been ruined. I am seeking a full refund.
DO NOT BOOK – this hotel is abandoned. Their help centre is based in India and they just passed a pillow to post without offering any assistance.
I didn't stay because an agent informed me the hotel had maintenance issues. I asked for a full refund but was told to cancel. I'm still waiting for the full refund; I only received £3, which is totally unacceptable. I had to book another hotel and was charged for two hotels for the same night. I can't contact anyone and am really upset, reluctant to book here again.
