I loved the view, but the location is a problem – it takes 40 minutes to get to the center of Fortuna.

The scenery is gorgeous and the place is super quiet, yet the location is an issue because the street leading to the site is ugly.

“Petit bout de paradis”

We enjoyed a stunning villa overlooking Lake Arenal, fully equipped and serviced daily; the laundry service was perfect, and a sweet black cat kept us company – take good care of it! Unfortunately, the restaurant (excellent otherwise!!) was closed on the first night, so we had to practice driving on that challenging wet road through the night, which made the following days easier 😂

“Un lugar diferente, hermoso y amigable”

The place looks great and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The view of the volcano and Arenal lagoon is exceptional. Breakfast is included and tastes really good. Rooms and villas are quite spacious and you can rest perfectly. No negative comments.

“Great views of the lake, lovely clean room with comfy beds”

The views are beautiful, the atmosphere very peaceful, the beds comfortable and the shower great! The attached restaurant was closed and the location is quite remote, so there was no dinner option, but otherwise it’s a lovely spot.
