The place offers peace and a natural setting, following a strict vegan philosophy. The scents of sage and rosemary, the pool, and the overall vibe are nice. When I wrote directly to the owner about some issues, he showed understanding, professionalism, and took note of the problems, which reassured me about the place. However, by the end of the season there were no bars open and no dinner options, something not mentioned in the welcome message. The road to the cabin is in poor condition and needs more care; the interior is very basic and needs repairs (e.g., a broken toilet door). The access road is almost impassable, uneven, and full of holes, especially for a low‑slung sports car, and was further damaged by a storm that left water‑filled holes. On arrival the staff were friendly but did not fully grasp guests’ needs; the terrace furniture was dirty after the rain and we had to clean it ourselves, which felt unacceptable. Overall, a negative personal experience at a special place that I might try again if circumstances improve.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the location was nice and quiet. However, the breakfast didn’t suit our taste and the bed was not very comfortable for us.

I’ll focus mainly on the property rather than the staff. Enrico and Cristina were competent, available, and professional, but there were several shortcomings I found. About a kilometre of unpaved road leads to Kapuhala, and you can’t drive straight into the premises. My wife, our 3‑month‑old daughter, and I stayed in a clean, well‑arranged apartment that still had a damp smell; switching the AC to dehumidifier mode fixed it. During our stay, ants appeared in the sink and on the induction hob, which I believe are due to the stone construction rather than a lack of cleaning. In the bathroom there was a towel rack, but the lower part was rusted so we didn’t touch it. The most shocking issue was that, after some rain, the outside of the apartment filled with small worms that somehow entered the house—apparently the windows didn’t seal well enough. With a 3‑month‑old baby, that was worrying. I went down to call someone and found Enrico, who was already past reception hours, but he helped resolve the problem temporarily. The real issue is the window frame that needs better sealing. Also, there is no TV. The food is strictly vegan, yet the listing says vegetarian, which is a big difference. Either you eat vegan or nothing at all—this needs clearer description.
