I visited the island to meet two friends from California and we shared a room that had a fridge, a microwave, and a small convection stove top. The room was very comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally good, friendly, warm, and very helpful, clearly enjoying their jobs. The breakfast, included every day, was wonderful with many good options. The room layout was pleasant, with tables not crowded together, and the washrooms were in the same area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, especially since it was shoulder season and we got a great price, feeling like valued guests with the outstanding and welcoming staff. We did find a few things a bit challenging, such as using the convection stove top, which was not very intuitive. Check the fridge settings, because guests often experiment and things can freeze unexpectedly. We parked in the handicapped spot to the right of the main entrance; if you have knee problems, be careful—there’s a slight slope and an unexpected dip that can jar your knees a few times.
