It looked like a homeless shelter, and I now understand it’s under construction, though that wasn’t stated on the web page.

I enjoyed everything about it; every time I’ve come down I’ve stayed at this hotel and I love it—it’s so homey.

Convenient location. About 1/3 of the building was missing since they were currently undergoing a large renovation

I had a place to crash, but there was mold in my room and the staff wouldn’t clean it.

The staff were friendly, yet there was no pool, no breakfast, and the ice machines were broken.
