We really loved the guest house! The hosts Durgi and Dolma are charming and courteous, they cook tasty vegetable dishes grown in their garden, the rooms are roomy and clean, the price is good, and the location in Apr Cangsapa keeps the noise away, we fell in love.

“I will definitely come back to them”

I felt like I was at home at Zee guest house – everything there is just perfect. The place sits in a very peaceful spot, so if you’re after absolute silence, this is the best spot in Leh. The owner greets you warmly, Dolma didi is incredibly generous, caring, and loves to feed guests, and Aapi (dadiji) – even though she’s old – still works in the little garden, which is truly inspiring. The food is so delicious that you forget you’re not at home; it’s hygienic, super tasty, and gives a strong homely vibe. The night view from my window is straight out of a movie – I stayed on the ground floor, and from the window I could see the full moon and a long sesame tree swaying in the wind; I wished I could stop time. I’ve attached pictures of the night view from my window. Nothing was lacking – everything was super.

The location is excellent, quiet, yet still close to Leh market. The service is very friendly, the people are homely, welcoming, and polite. The property is clean and well maintained.

The staff are extremely helpful, the meals are good and always available, the rooms are clean, and the spaces are welcoming.
