I was blown away by the high‑altitude location of Casona de Tao, offering a 360° view that was truly magical. We spent three nights in three distinct rooms, each with its own charm. The breakfast area was outstanding, beautifully decorated and offering an incredible view. The staff were exceptionally kind. On the downside, the pool was poorly maintained and not heated, which was a real let‑down. Breakfast was decent but not great if you’re very hungry.

The place is gorgeous, with a lovely location and beautiful views. The rooms have a bit of humidity, but that’s expected in such a historic house, which is otherwise lovely.

What a fantastic stay overall! The setting is very pleasant and quiet, with spacious areas perfect for relaxing and stunning sunrises and sunsets from the various terraces. Our room was very comfortable and offered a great view. The staff were truly adorable and helpful. A genuinely charming spot that I would recommend without hesitation! 🥰

The unique central spot on a natural volcanic hill offers panoramic views all the way to Famara. The small hotel, run by the owner and a few very friendly staff, features wonderfully designed rooms in the Stul of Manrique. Unfortunately, a few days before we arrived, the ceiling in our room had just been painted with an exterior colour that still had a strong smell.
