“Enttäuschend”

The staff were friendly and helpful, but we were two families of nine people staying for four days in four rooms, and the experience fell far short of our expectations. The rooms left a very worn impression overall; several items were broken or damaged— a coat rack fell straight out of the wall when used, drawers were unusable because the knobs were loose. Cleanliness was lacking: we found previous guests’ items under the beds, and some areas, especially the showers, were not thoroughly cleaned. We also encountered spiders and ants in the rooms, which further diminished our comfort. Showering was a real adventure: it took more than 10 minutes in the morning for the water to finally warm up, and when someone else was showering in the house, almost no water remained. It was unsettling to stand under the shower and fear that no more drops would come. Breakfast cost €9.50 per person, which was moderate, but the quality was disappointing— the sausage and cheese were dried out as if they hadn’t been freshly arranged, the coffee cream was clumpy and caused my coffee to curdle so I had to return it, and there were no eggs at all. Overall, we didn’t feel very comfortable and would not recommend the hotel in its current state.

A nice Bed & Breakfast hotel with simple but pleasant rooms and friendly hosts, located right on Stützerbach.
