The old building feels fabulous yet has modern conveniences. Our room, Josephine, was huge with beautiful high, beamed ceilings—great for the three of us. The bed was very comfy. The location was great, just a short walk to the town centre and the Chateau. The outdoor pool area was perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The host family was wonderful—thanks for the hospitality! There was nothing to fault about our stay; it was perfect for us.

The pool and jacuzzi were nice, but the street‑side room was noisy even though the building was empty, and the owner was very unpleasant, constantly policing us. We didn’t feel comfortable and the price didn’t match the experience, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

This place is perfect for a romantic getaway: very quiet, a lovely pool, and just steps from the Château de Fontainebleau. We strongly recommend it.
