This place is really the best. The host and his family are so kind and helpful. The house is very serene, surrounded by nature and the room is comfortable and cozy with a very big and good bed. They also helped me to organize a trek to Wangendigala with a guide, which was amazing. I recommend 100%

I stayed a second time at this hotel. The location is great and quiet, with a veranda to relax in the evening and a forest nearby. The room had everything needed, was clean, not cold, and had hot water. I pre‑ordered dinner before arrival, and they welcomed me warmly and served delicious food. Everything felt homey and cozy. The biggest waterfall in Sri Lanka is close by, plus other waterfalls; the drive along the waterfall road is beautiful with crystal‑clear air. I love visiting this area. Thanks a lot to the owner and his family!

There is spiderweb that isn’t wiped off even on the nightstands, and the bathroom tiles on the walls haven’t been cleaned for 100 years.
