The rooms were comfortable, but we had to switch rooms because the staff forgot a work order for ours; after moving, the new room was fine, yet the dining room downstairs had additional problems, so the trip was okay but I probably won’t return.

The location was good and the staff friendly; we only had breakfast twice, the menu was a bit limited but pleasant, and the bar was rarely open, closing at 10 pm when it was open.

The spot was spot on, right on the east side of Southlake and close to the highway, which helped a lot since we were spending a lot of time in Dallas. The junior suite, however, was in obvious disrepair: some sink faucets weren’t attached, the bathroom door had no handles, and the furniture seemed thrown together with no thought for the guests.
