“It was only after I arrived and paid for the room they told me the pool and restaurant were being worked on!”

I was pleased that the hotel was close to the site and had easy access, but I was disappointed to find the spa and pool under renovation and the restaurant closed.

The staff were kind and the rooms were clean. I booked this as a 4‑star hotel, but it still feels under construction. That should have been disclosed before booking. There is no swimming pool, though we were given free access to a nearby beach as compensation – appreciated, but not a real substitute for an on‑site pool when guests expect the advertised facilities. The gym is tiny with limited equipment, and breakfast is not a buffet; the selection and quantity are very limited, not meeting 4‑star standards. The second floor remains unfurnished, while the third and fourth floors are still under construction. Even the underground parking is unfinished, feels unsafe, and gives a poor first impression. The hotel should clearly inform guests that it is still under construction so they can decide before booking. Advertising it as a completed 4‑star property is misleading. It may improve once construction finishes, but right now it does not provide the facilities, services, or overall experience expected from a 4‑star hotel.

“Good experience”

The room was spacious, the toilet very clean, and the staff were amazing. The location is a bit far from Byblos city; taxis take 10‑15 minutes to arrive and only cash is accepted.
