The location was ideal for our trip, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the pool area was a real bonus. I had a massive room, but it would have been nicer if it had a kettle for hot drinks, and a safe to secure our passports would also have been useful. The bed was made of single mattresses joined together, so you could feel the seam during the stay, and the mattress was too hard for me.

Overall a great hotel, but better to stay for two nights so you can enjoy the pool. I received a carport for my trike, which was very considerate because I arrived completely soaked. The price is very high, especially since breakfast is extra paid. A small à la carte menu would be nice, because not everyone can handle the huge variety of food.

Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety and everything was kept well stocked, but several staff members spoke poor German and the added dinner buffet was a let‑down, with very limited meat options (just two dishes) and only potato croquettes or fried rice on offer; there were plenty of salads, yet they were far too light compared with the breakfast spread, which was disappointing.
