It was close to Mirissa beach. There were no hand towels, only two for the body, no outside basket, and a lot of mosquitoes. The lights next to the bed never turned on and made a noise from the wires. The mosquitoes were worse around the house and the neighbors, and the owner even complained that they found plastic in front of them. The whole courtyard smelled like plastic.

I liked the friendly villa owner and his assistant, who fulfilled all my requests, and that the owners customized breakfast to my taste and supplied everything needed. The location isn’t the most convenient for travelers without a bike; walking along Lankyan roads is quite an adventure. There appears to be a kitchen, but it isn’t really usable—only plates and utensils are available.
