Le Cabassou du medoc

A great spot to unwind after touring the area. Breakfast was good and the hosts were friendly. The outdoor kitchen with fridge and microwave was very handy since there were no restaurants within walking distance; we microwaved a supermarket paella and had a bottle of wine. The pool was fantastic during the heatwave, very clean and comfortable. Bruno and Nadege had only recently taken over, so the pool loungers were a bit worn, but the pool itself was well maintained.

The owners were warm and welcoming, and the place was calm and peaceful. A few minor tweaks would help: the shower was slippery, and the dish rack was a bit old.

The venue is large, can host many people, has a nice pool and a boules court. The dishes were not clean, some kitchen utensils had mold, the kitchen cabinet doors weren’t properly secured, the toilet window was broken and no longer held, and the price for towel rental wasn’t listed on the booking site, so we paid an extra 125 € in cash. It really lacks transparency.
