“Проверяйте заранее гостиницы и сообщайте своевременно”
What could have pleased me about a non‑operational hotel? I didn’t like that my vacation was ruined; the hotel had been closed for over three months and nobody informed me.

This place has been shut for at least five months! When we arrived at 2 a.m. there was a paper on the door that said closed in Russian.

The hotel had permanently closed without any prior notice, and we were met with a very unpleasant surprise at 20:00 upon arrival.

I couldn't imagine anything good about a place that was shut down and I hadn't been told; the way they ran things was also disappointing.
