The family running the lodge was very friendly and welcoming; the pool was a cozy house with plenty of space, the bird garden was great, and the boat tour was fun – we really enjoyed it and wanted to stay longer. No complaints.

A fantastic stay with delicious food and great tours – one of our favorite places on our four‑week trip through Costa Rica! Nothing to add.
The lodge is run by a very kind family who welcomed us warmly; breakfast and dinner were excellent, the lodge was a bird paradise where we saw ara, toucan, aracari, and owls, and we enjoyed a lovely boat trip with the owner’s son.
The spot is off the beaten path; a jungle walk and a boat trip with Allan were fantastic, and the food was excellent, but it gets a bit humid during the rainy season.
