The quirky industrial California vibe, excellent location, spacious bedroom with several bed choices and a rear private garden for bike storage, plus friendly staff, lovely terraces and a pool for sunset drinks. But there was no air‑conditioning in the rooms, no water/coffee/drinks, the stay was pricey for what it offered, and the restaurant was a poor value—especially the disappointing chateaubriand.

“an expensive disappointment, no surf but mould smell...”

The staff, especially the waiters, were very nice, but the negatives unfortunately outweighed everything. All the pictures from the property are highly overworked with filters. Unfortunately the room was full with a mould smell, no other option was available, making our stay quite disappointing and absolutely overpriced. On top we registered for surfing, the main goal for the trip, and the receptionist simply forgot to enter it in the system (unfortunately very unorganised), meaning we could not join the surf trip. May be it was a better spot in the past.
