The houseboat had everything needed for cozy nights, and its interior matched the pictures and looked really nice. Unfortunately, the location and view were completely different from the photos, and the activity guide was not from the harbor where the houseboat currently sits; it might be a temporary spot. It would help if booking info mentioned that the surroundings differ from the images or if the images were updated.

“I want a refund!”

They claimed the property wouldn’t be at the lake’s end in the swamp with a bad smell, yet it was exactly that, and the included boat was full of swamp water and unusable. Trash was already there on arrival, half the curtains were missing, and there was no AC—only a remote for a nonexistent unit. The toilet was shocking: it had a plastic bag, and we had to use it for two days without knowing beforehand. Men were expected to pee sitting down, and we couldn’t replace the bag. This was unacceptable. The second toilet shown in photos was filthy, and most of the advertised furniture on the front and upper deck was missing. I demand a refund for this horrible, traumatic experience and false advertising.

“Brilliant great experience”

I loved the houseboat concept, and the dinghy is handy if you want to explore by boat. The beds were comfortable and all the necessary facilities were present. The toilet took a little getting used to but ultimately was fine.

“Très beau séjour authentique.”

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the terrace offered a splendid view! What we liked the least was the trip to reach the accommodation; the abundance of large parking lots for the port contrasted sharply with the charming small village nearby.
