The apartment is very centrally located, the landlord was extremely friendly and responded quickly to questions, and the old‑style apartment with visible beams was lovely; the description could have been a bit more precise about its exact location, the drainage should be cleaned, water from the shower ran onto the floor, the shower head was sticking out of the wall, and the handrail in front of the toilet was also protruding.

The location was great, the bed was comfy, and it was mostly quiet at night; the shower had to be hand‑held and there was no refrigerator.

The spot was ideal for walking around Honfleur; the sound insulation seemed a bit thin, but it didn’t bother us during the stay.

The central spot on a pleasant street near the bus station was perfect, the decor was very pretty and cosy, and it felt welcoming; the stairs made access a bit tough (as noted before booking), so travelling light was best, and the place was well set up. I had only brief interactions with the host, who were efficient and quick, and I only met the friendly cleaning staff. It did get a bit warm during the heat, the fan was a bit “short”, and I would have liked a mini fridge to make better use of the room’s space even for meals.

The location, chic and charming decor, and autonomy were positives, along with the small drinks and equipment provided; the negatives were nighttime noise due to poor soundproofing, mattress hygiene (stains that could be avoided with a mattress protector), and some floor areas (sheep under the fireplace). A shower curtain would improve things by reducing splashes during showers.
