The family running Ingaru Lodge is lovely and deeply connected to the region, treating conservation as part of everything that shapes this beautiful place; if you get a chance to talk to them, do so. We recommend arriving early, heading to the river, and exploring the various trails, where you’ll see the forest’s entrance—a truly special spot. They arranged our transportation, and we reached several points on time and without hassle. Thank you! A small section of the mosquito mesh was broken, and we had to deal with some unwanted insects, but that’s just the rainforest—life without bugs isn’t realistic.
