Our date change was confirmed three times in writing via the chat before arrival. When we arrived, we were handed the key, put our bags in the room, and left. The host returned around 00:15 and claimed we had never booked, yet there were other guests in our room. He unlawfully entered our room, threw our bags—without any discussion—into an open public garden where everyone could see them. We were left on the street at night and had to find an expensive alternative. The host refuses to apologize or offer a solution. He first promised a direct refund, but now demands in writing that we “certainly leave no negative comments” before he returns our money, supposedly in September. It seems he’s trying to hide his misconduct by withholding payment. He blamed us entirely and offered no apology. I filed a complaint, and they contacted Joris, who refuses to pay. Unsafe, antisocial, and deceptive. He had ample time to fix his mistakes but refuses to take responsibility. In his reply to my review, he claims my response is one‑sided and that he cannot improve. Ironically, despite multiple attempts to contact him, he never responds.
