The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the service is friendly, and the location near Austin’s airport is ideal for a short layover.

The place was quiet, clean, and the staff were very friendly. The bed felt comfortable and the sheets were clean and crisp. The commode wobbled when sitting on it and the hot water could have been hotter. Adding something in the tub to reduce slipping and chargers on both sides of the bed would improve things, but these are all minor issues.

The ability to cook was great, and overall the place was clean. The soundproofing was a little lacking.

This time the room on the back side of the building was much quieter.

The room was spacious and the kitchen appliances were really good. However, the air conditioning wasn’t working, so they moved me to another room. The dishwasher stopped working after a day. They wouldn’t provide room service without charging you. Hidden costs and additional charges appeared: the reception board displayed breakfast buffet prices and times incorrectly; I was supposed to be charged $20 but ended up paying $50 at the holiday-inn breakfast room. The reception info display said overnight parking was $15, yet they still charged $15 on the day I was leaving even though I wasn’t staying overnight. An unnecessary $50 hold was required multiple times because I had to extend my stay. Their system does not accept Apple Pay in 2026. I found cockroaches in my room, took a picture and showed it to the front desk, but they gave me no compensation as a goodwill gesture and kept providing poor service. Although I liked the space and the in-room amenities, I will never stay here again because of the miscommunication, hidden costs, and rip‑off.
