I’ve stayed at many five‑star hotels across Oman, Hungary, and Switzerland, and honestly, this stay in France fell far short of what I’ve seen elsewhere; given the high price, I expected a much higher standard. The room was far from clean: no toothbrush or toothpaste, a dirty bed with visible hair, a carpet with several burnt patches, and a broken coffee machine. The only redeeming aspects were the great location and the friendly, professional staff. Overall, for a five‑star property, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance was simply unacceptable, especially compared to the cleaner, better‑maintained hotels I’ve experienced in Muscat, Hungary, and Zurich.
