“Hotel is nice and in nice place/ Havy Huggins was great!”
I arrived on 10-9-26 and booked a Bay View King (313) on the 3rd floor and a City View Double (404) on the 4th floor. Havy Huggins checked us in; she was friendly, professional, courteous, and very informative, explaining how to use the digital key (scan versus password) and suggesting restaurants and available coupons. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds comfortable. The hotel itself is nice, and the location is great if you plan to visit Main Street (5th Ave S.), Tin City, boat rides, or even the beach—a long walk but doable. The A/C is not central; it’s a window unit embedded in the wall below the window. It works well but is very noisy all night, making it hard to fall asleep if you’re sensitive to noise. While we were there, no one came to clean or replace towels in room 313; when we returned in the evening the bed was unmade and towels were still on the shower floor. I tried calling the front desk, but the phone was busy (I was advised by Havy in the morning during checkout).
