The ryokan was beautiful, in a lovely spot, and the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed a private breakfast and dinner for our two nights, and the food was fresh, generous, and tasty. The private onsen was blisteringly hot and a pleasure to soak in. The location is close to the train station, and the walk from the accommodation was easy. Buses were also conveniently reachable from the station. Overall, we found the stay very enjoyable—thank you. The only issue was the steep stairs, which I had known about beforehand.

The building’s history is evident, yet every corner is meticulously cleaned, making it very tidy and pleasant. Whether it’s a family-run place or not, the staff are incredibly homey and warm, with many moments of attentive care and genuine hospitality. Feeling the warmth of people, I could truly refresh my spirit; it’s a wonderful inn that I definitely want to return to. The ping‑pong table was always available, so I enjoyed it to the fullest! There were no negatives.

The outdoor bath’s water quality and temperature were good, and even though the facilities look old, the taste isn’t a bother. The floor was soft and a bit unstable, though.

The place is stunning and one of a kind, and the room itself was gorgeous. We could use a private onsen whenever we wanted, and the staff were friendly and helpful—our vegan dinner and breakfast were both tasty, especially the dinner which felt very special.
