I only had coffee for breakfast, but the staff suggested that I try the new Hotel Austin nearby next time. The old bathroom needs urgent renovation, and the desk in the room is still being taken apart.

The administrator was very polite, we got along well even though I didn’t speak Romanian, and she offered us coffee, which was a nice touch. The room windows faced a busy road, so traffic ran by all night, but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault.
I booked a room in Constanța, arrived there, and they sent me to Ovidiu instead (the reservation was for Constanța city). The room was cold.
“Putin placuta”
The place was quiet, but the carpets and linens had a strong smell. The room and balcony were not cleaned.
The mattress and pillow were comfortable, and breakfast was good. The shower had no curtain, the floor was always wet, and the toilet leaked all night.
