I skipped breakfast, but the bed was a bit small and didn’t live up to my expectations; there were no other lights, just one next to the door.

My family and I stopped over at Adelante for the night on our way back to Johannesburg. The staff is incredibly friendly, the establishment is centrally located so everything we needed was a short drive away, and our room was beautiful and very comfortable. Excellent value and top-tier hospitality - a fantastic stopover spot. A quick heads-up for future travelers: as it was the last weekend of the month, the area was buzzing, and a nearby party went on until around midnight (street-facing rooms pick up quite a bit of that noise). Otherwise, it’s a wonderful place to recharge, and the hospitality was top-notch
It felt like home right in the heart of town. We stayed a week for rugby and loved it. Amo at reception was so welcoming, the beds and breakfast were great, and the location is perfect for town and the museum. Would definitely stay again.
