Our stay at the Park Royal collection was superb; everything about the place was fabulous. We loved the breakfast, the gym, and the pool area, and we really enjoyed the Club lounge each evening. I would highly recommend it.

The hotel was super cozy, spotless, and kept in great shape. The staff went above and beyond, being friendly and helpful all the time. The spot is perfect, just a short walk from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and other hot spots. We even got a free room upgrade, which made the trip even better. Nothing else to complain about – everything was flawless.

Honestly, nothing. The hotel looks modern and luxurious at first glance, but the actual experience was extremely disappointing. This was by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The biggest problem was the extremely poor hygiene and the unpleasant odors throughout the property. The corridors smelled of urine, while the rooms felt stuffy, poorly ventilated, and had a persistent musty smell. The pillows were particularly disgusting; every time I put my head on one, the air released from inside carried an extremely foul, sewage‑like odor. The bedding and towels also smelled unpleasant, despite appearing clean at first glance. Even the electric kettle had a terrible smell and visible mineral deposits inside, so I didn’t feel comfortable using it to prepare drinking water. The bathroom had inadequate ventilation, and the room itself was poorly designed, with unusually low ceilings, inconvenient bathroom placement, poorly planned lighting, and impractical furniture arrangements. What makes this experience particularly disturbing is that the hotel appears clean and luxurious on the surface, but once you pay attention to the details, the lack of proper hygiene becomes impossible to ignore. For a hotel positioning itself as a premium property, this level of cleanliness and maintenance is completely unacceptable. I have stayed in many hotels, but I have never experienced such consistently unpleasant odors and such a disappointing standard of hygiene.

I loved the roomy room and the incredibly comfy bed. A nice touch was the water dispenser in the bathroom and the use of glass bottles instead of plastic ones. The staff were very friendly and always made time for pleasant chats. The central location in Kuala Lumpur is a huge plus: an underground and a monorail station plus shopping are nearby. The pool area was also great, with various loungers and a drink service that kept me well taken care of and relaxed. The only downside was that the room felt a bit dark; extra window coverings with a perforated pattern blocked daylight, which I found disappointing – it seemed more focused on façade design than guest comfort.
