“Not worth the price”

Room 317 looked good after a recent remodel, yet room 318 was outdated with windows sealed shut. The carpet had just been cleaned with a harsh, overpowering solution that lingered because we couldn’t open windows, leaving the floor damp throughout our stay. The bathtub was stained and unsanitary, and there were no towels or cloths to shower with. The room had only one light and no side lamps, and the bathroom door scraped loudly against the floor when closed. The $411 we paid felt unjustified, and we had no alternative for the night.

“Very disappointing.”

Location was great. Never got to try the amenities. Never got to stay due to room we booked not being available when we got there. We booked a non smoking room for one night. We got there and the room wasn't available, only smoking rooms. We were told that it was booking .com fault, to contact them, and management wouldn't be in until Mon. We contacted booking .com they contacted hotel. No response from the hotel to or to us. We called several different times and there was no answer from the staff. This review was the first time we have been reached out to. This happened on Aug 8th & it's 2 months later the staff still hasn't responded. We spent our money for a booking that wasn't available when we got there & it has not been returned by failure of management. We were very excited to spend the night there & Extremely disappointed we had to leave

“A place to sleep.”

The location and the large screen TV were positives, but my expectations were low after reading other reviews. The stay was non‑refundable, so we brought our own linens and Lysol. I wasn’t prepared for the severe black mold infestation: the ceiling above the shower was covered, some mold seeped into the bedroom, and the bathtub was so dirty it needed a serious scrub. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were cheap and flat, which is why we brought our own. The price was $200 a night during Oktoberfest, which explains the high rate, but it was still one of the cheaper options in town. We didn’t address the issues with staff because there was no other place to stay.

The River, the adjacent restaurant, and Betty’s store made for an excellent morning walk, but there was no hot water and the breakfast area—just two tables with four chairs—was too small for eight people and offered limited items. The air conditioning was frightening, with exposed wiring and towels placed to cushion the vibration.

“Never again would I book here. Very much over priced.”

The bed was horrible. The room smelled very bad. The floor outside our doorway feels like it is about to fall in. Just a very old, outdated hotel. I asked for first floor and was placed on the 2nd floor. I would not recommend this place to anyone
