Cleanliness and a casual vibe. In the lobby, on the lounge chair, I even fell asleep a few times. If you take a shared room you will be woken up early in the morning by others, but that is part of sleeping in a shared room.

Central location in Gamla stan. The room was a disaster. Loft bed with a ladder! No single corner to hang clothes. Shared women's toilet and shower in the hall, and for men there was no shower at all.

I landed right in the heart of the old town, so everything was within reach. The downside? No staff around except from 8‑10 am to sell breakfast. The lounge lights stayed off for two days because no one was there to fix them, so the hot water I’d paid for never worked. The hostel only has two showers in a shared bathroom that also houses one of just two toilets; the semi‑transparent doors mean you have to time your shower so you don’t run into someone brushing their teeth. I once walked in and found a naked guy standing there. On top of that, there’s no way to heat food—no microwave at all. One of the worst stays I’ve had.

“Only stay if you need to save money, but it is not comfortable”

The spot is spot-on, but the bedroom left me wanting: no locker, no curtains, a teen‑size duvet, and pillows that feel like folded foam—definitely not pillow quality. The bathroom is cramped, mirrors only reach short people, and there’s no shower gel, shampoo, or soap, plus it wasn’t very clean.
