The breakfast was good, but you have to pay for the gym, minors under 18 are not allowed, and the pool hours are terrible from 13 to 17.
Good breakfast, quick check‑in, a nice hotel with a nice swimming pool, and many restaurants nearby. The price for the pool is far too high.
“Mooi uitzicht, teleurstellende, veel te dure zwem ervaring!”
The view was lovely, but we left feeling let down by the hotel. We arrived on time with the kids only to be told we couldn’t check in until the evening because the rooms weren’t ready. They offered a brief apology and a free‑drink coupon for adults, which meant little since everyone was handed the same voucher. The pool fee was outrageous – we were charged €230 per day for our family of five, plus a weekend surcharge (even though it was Monday) and an extra holiday charge that brought the cost to almost €50 per person. As a result we swam just one day instead of three. The rest of the trip was great, but we regret ending it with this experience.
My son has celiac disease, and there were communication problems about that; we had to tell the staff several times that he is gluten‑intolerant. The beds were very small.

The view of the Skytree straight from the window was amazing, and the European‑style décor felt very charming. The room was clean and gave a fresh impression. I bought water the night before and ran out after getting to the room; I called the front desk the next day and they delivered more, which I appreciated, but it still wasn’t enough, so having a place nearby where I could buy water without leaving the hotel would have been helpful.
