The hotel sits just a short walk from Shizuoka Station and the bustling downtown, and nothing inside really stood out as a problem while the rates stayed reasonable; next door is the former Tokugawa Yoshinobu residence garden, Ukitsuki‑ro, which I dropped by after breakfast and found it very calming. If you’re after a quiet spot, this place probably isn’t for you.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is super convenient, just a stone's throw from JR Shizuoka Station, which made getting around a breeze. The hotel itself was quiet and comfortable, a peaceful oasis in the midst of the bustling city, and the staff were incredibly friendly and courteous. The breakfast was also a highlight, with a delicious spread of dishes served in generous portions.

I had a great time staying at this hotel, which is conveniently located near the train station and right in the heart of the bustling city. The beautiful garden was a lovely oasis in the midst of all the action. However, I did find it a bit challenging to navigate the area on my first visit, but once I got familiar with it, everything fell into place.
