“Great breakfast, but doggy odor and upkeep issues”
Breakfast was delicious, hosts super friendly. But there were four or more dogs roaming the property, and the wet‑dog smell was strong. They stayed out of rooms but still in common areas, making them a bit uncomfortable. The place could use a bit more upkeep, especially the garden and interior, even in winter.

The rooms are roomy with comfy beds, and the lodge boasts a big pool, lounge, and terrace where you can meet other travelers. The real star is owner Guido—always listening and ready to help, like finding a nearby garage when my rental car got a windshield hit.
