“Prenotazione”
We booked just before arriving in a small village in the Black Forest, and even though no one was at the front desk, they gave us the room number and we could enter right away. The room was nice, had a balcony and a modern bathroom, but the carpet needs a deep clean or it would be better to remove it entirely.
“Prima hotel.”
Just a good hotel where 3‑person rooms are always available. Unfortunately the restaurant is currently closed, but the hotel is in the middle of the village and there are plenty of nearby dining options.
Reception closes very early.
“Für ein zwei Nächte gutes Hotel mit sehr gutem Griffstück”
A bit old-fashioned but nice. Very good breakfast. Reception was initially unoccupied and unreachable; later I had to collect the key myself. The room was still not cleaned, but I was quickly given another one.
“Fait le job sans plus”
The breakfast was overpriced for the bare‑bones service, though the shared fridge and the pay‑for‑drinks box (no supervision) were decent and the room had just been renovated beautifully; the exterior of the building left a lot to be desired, the restaurant looks shut down for ages, there’s no air‑conditioning and the fan they provide is extremely noisy, and the 15 € breakfast simply isn’t worth it.
