The welcome was really warm and the place is close to everything, plus it’s tidy. The bed was a bit hard for my taste, and the room lacked soundproofing—neighbors’ conversations were audible, especially the corridor that ran right into the room.

The spot is well‑situated and the kitchen is built‑in. The gear feels old, the room is cramped, dim, and noisy with the hallway and other rooms. The reception was average; for instance, the brochure shows a balcony for the rooms, but the basic package doesn’t include one. I pointed out the discrepancy, and the staff replied, “yes I know!” but the listing still hasn’t changed.

The spot is close to the canyon, which is great. The sofa was pretty uncomfortable, though.

The location worked for me. The price, however, was high—after spending a night in Percé and another in Carleton‑sur‑Mer at better spots, it’s odd that this motel ended up being the most expensive part of my short trip to the east of the province.
