Everything was very clean and the staff provided thoughtful extras, yet the entrance felt uninviting and could use tidying; we stayed on a Saturday night in room 1, which sits above the downstairs bar that played loud live music until 1 am—be warned!

Check‑in was easy and the location is good, but the pub downstairs is loud; the floor is well insulated and blocks most noise except for the bass.

The stay was fabulous, the place was spotlessly clean, check‑in was effortless, and there were plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits, and drinks—thoughtful touches all around.
