The location was perfect, but there was no bar in the hotel.

The only thing that worked was the spot—close to the metro—but everything else fell apart: the staff were awful and rude, it was a struggle to find anyone who spoke English, the cleaning lady was shockingly abrasive, insisting I didn’t need my room cleaned while I was sleeping and pounding on the door three times before finally leaving; the lobby sofas were soaked with sweat and just disgusting.

There were no facilities open—no bar or restaurant—and that wasn’t told when I booked, yet the place is conveniently located for trains and the subway.

The room itself was fine, but the AC didn’t work and we were asked to leave at the last minute; we were denied any refund even though we paid for an AC room.
