“Non all'altezza del costo”

The entire apartment has only one limited light point because it was converted from an old warehouse; every outside noise is heard inside, including my cats’ litter and their fighting. The bed was uncomfortable and too soft; the air‑conditioner didn’t work, as the split’s condensation flooded the room. Breakfast was minimal and consisted of discount products.

The room we were given at first was nice, but literally full of humidity. We asked the V&B manager to change rooms because we couldn’t breathe. He was very kind and gave us another room. That room, however, was a gas chamber—everything, even the sheets and duvet, had a strong smoke smell, and the bathroom didn’t even smell clean. The only thing worth mentioning is the manager’s kindness; otherwise, it’s absolutely unacceptable.

“Für 1-2 Nächte ok, länger nicht auszuhalten.”

The room’s location and size were fine, but you can’t stay long in it despite the new, nice, and good equipment. It’s in an old cellar vault, and the stale smell and dampness spread everywhere. Even the clothes in the suitcase smelled musty after one night. The built‑in bathroom ventilation does nothing. The pillows and bed are slightly damp, and mold grows on the walls and in the kitchen cabinets. Breakfast is a joke—only packaged, unhealthy items, and even the coffee pods don’t match the machine. The receptionist refused card payment even though two card readers were right beside him and demanded cash, claiming the devices wouldn’t work. When I insisted, he finally accepted the card without issue. He seemed to be cutting costs at the guest’s expense, especially when a small baby was traveling in a foreign city after a long trip.

The apartment was musty and almost airless, so the owner kindly offered us a room in his Bed and Breakfast on the first floor with a balcony. Air‑conditioning worked well. Two bar fridges in the room didn’t, but there was a hallway fridge that did. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The scent of cleaning products was overwhelming and could bother some. The location was good. The building seems to be under construction, so things might improve in the future. The owner let us check in half an hour early. No breakfast was provided.

The place was cozy, everything well cared for and organized. The TV was in a perfect spot and not at all inconvenient. The bed was very comfortable. The Wi‑Fi, though connected, had problems, and we couldn’t stream Netflix on the TV because of network issues. The parking was very inconvenient, so we parked far away.
